RAMBAN, July 16: Police arrested father-son duo, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Ramban Police Station conducted raid and apprehended father-son duo, who were at large since long.
The arrested persons were identified as Abdul Rashid Khedwat Manhas, son of Abdul Ahad and his son Mohammad Isaq, both residents of village Ashmar Sangaldan.
Abdul Rashid Khedwat Manhas was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 126/2013 under Section 376 IPC, while Mohammad Isaq was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 89/2013 under Sections 457, 380 and 201 RPC. Both the cases were registered at Police Station Ramban.
Further investigation into the cases is going on.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Sunil Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Rajinder Chib, Additional SP Ramban Sanjay Parihar and SSP Ramban Haseeb-ur-Rahman.
