RAMBAN, June 7: Police arrested an absconding fraudster, who was evading his arrest for the past several years.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Ramban police station arrested an absconder, who was at large since 2011.
The accused has been identified as Irshad Ahmed, son of Mohammad Shafi Banday of Village Arai, tehsil Mandi, district Poonch.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR number 122/2010 under Section 420 RPC with police station Ramban.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO police station Ramban Inspector Ajay Singh Chib made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Mohammad Rafiq and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
