JAMMU, Dec 30: Kanachack police arrested a murder accused, who was evading his arrest since long.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted in the murder case, conducted raid and arrested the fifth accused, who has been identified as Vinod Kumar alias Mama, son of Bishan Dass of Flora, Nagbani.
He was involved in the murder case registered under FIR Number 164/16 under Section 302/109 RPC with police station Kanachack.
His four associates involved in this murder case already stand arrested.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
SIT led by SDPO Akhnoor Gurvinder Pal Singh and assisted by SHO Kanachack Inspector Rajesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SP Rural Arun Gupta.
