Absconding murder accused arrested

JAMMU, Nov 13: Gharota police arrested an absconder, who was wanted in a murder case, which took place during the intervening night of November 7 and 8 this year.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gharota Police Station conducted raid and arrested an accused involved in murder case.
The accused has been identified as Khalid Hussain alias Munna, son of Aimma, a resident of Kangar Bhalwal.
He also with his associate Azam Hussain (21), son of Lal Din had murdered Mohammad Jabbar alias Ganjoo, son of Abdul Gani, a resident of Bhalwal near Karwanda Talab during the intervening night of November 7 and 8 this year.
Azam Din was arrested on the same day, while Khalid Hussain lands into police net today. Weapon of offence has been recovered from the possession of Khalid Hussain.
A case under FIR Number 109/18 under section 302 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act stands registered at Police Station Gharota and further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Gharota SI Dheeraj Nagpal made the arrest of the absconding accused under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Ajay Sharma, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
