JAMMU, June 2: Peer Mitha Police today arrested an absconding murderer.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Peer Mitha Police Station conducted raid and apprehended an absconder from Rajasthan.
The accused has been identified as Himat Singh alias Kalu (40), son of Til Bahadur of Kathmandu Nepal, at present Bawe Wali Gali, Peer Mitha.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 7/12 under section 302 RPC with Police Station Peer Mitha. Arrest warrant under section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by Court of 2nd Additional Munsiff Jammu on November 20, 2013.
Police team made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Peer Mitha Police Station SI Nayat Ali and SDPO City Jaswant Singh.
