DODA, Jan 18: Kahara police arrested an absconder, who was wanted in a rape case.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Post Kahara led by SI Ashok Bazaz under the supervision of SDPO Gandoh Nawaz Khandey and SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed conducted raid and arrested an absconder, who was wanted in a rape case and was evading his arrest since 2014.
The accused has been identified as Talib Hussain, son of Nawab Din, a resident of Sichel tehsil Kahara district Doda.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 112/2014 under Sections 376, 366 and 109 RPC with Police Station Gandoh.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
