DODA, Sept 1: Locals of village Patyaran Soti in Bhallesa and adjoining areas here today staged a protest demonstration against the unauthorized absence of teaching staff at Government Primary School (GPS) Patyaran.
The protesters also blocked Gowari-Gandoh Thathri road at Gowari.
They claimed non-availability of teachers at GPS Patyaran in Education Zone Bhallesa-Doda.
Students of the school along with their parents were also present in the protest.
Protesting parents said that there are about 26 students in the school but only two teachers have been posted there and most of the time, one of these remains absent.
They said that due to absenteeism of teachers, studies of their wards have been affected badly and in last many days no class work has been done by the students.
“The students are without teacher and without education,” the protesting parents further said and claimed non-serious attitude of School Education Department responsible for the problem.
