ABSMS threatens to launch agitation

JAMMU, Apr 10: Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sang (ABSMS) today staged a protest demonstration against Government and threatened to launch a state wide agitation against, if it fails to fulfill their long pending demands.
ABSMS, under the leadership of its president, Dev Anand Gill assembled at Manda Zaad staged here this afternoon and staged a massive protest against the urban local bodies department.
Speaking on the occasion, Gill said that ABSMS will launch State wide agitation if the authorities fail to release the pending arrears of 6th Pay Commission, time bound promotion of civic staff and other facilities like shoes and raincoats for field working staff.
He informed that the union members several times met the higher officials, who assured to look into the grievances but so far the pending issues of Municipal employees are pending.
He asked the Government to fulfill union’s all demands in 15 days other wise ABSMS will launch a massive agitation in State.
Among others present in the protest were, Sheel, Amil, Bittu, Neely, Ajit Gill, Ashok Mashi, Sushell Gill and others.
