JAMMU, Oct 22: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today announced its Central University of Jammu unit for the year 2019-20.
Mukesh Manhas and Muskaan Anand were re-elected as President and Secretary, respectively while Shubham Raina, Aakriti Sharma, Rajneesh Lalotra, Anubhav Sharma, Sakshi Sharma were elected as Vice-Presidents. Ashish Dutta, Nidhi Jasrotia, Akash Verma, Sudhanshu, Kanav Rasgotra, Himanshu were nominated as Joint Secretaries of the unit.
Riya Gupta was nominated for the post of Development Incharge, Shubham and Supritik for Media Incharge and Social Media Incharge respectively. Madhu Sudan was nominated as Think India Incharge, Vishal Sharma, Shodh Kary Parmukh and Ashutosh as Sports Incharge, Yashpal as Co-Sports Incharge, Akshi, Students for Seva Incharge and Sourabh as Co-Incharge SFS. Lavanya, Simran Bhagat, Koshika, Aastha, Abhigya, Shiva were designated as Rashtriya Kala Manch Team Members, Chanderkant as Treasurer, Study Circle Incharge, Ashish Badyal as Co-Study Circle Incharge along with Sunidhi.
Department Incharge are Chandan (Zoology), Ajay Singh (SCM), Abhinav (Botany), Abhinandan ( Chemistry), Nikhil (Physics), Palvee Rani (EVS), Happy Sharma ( B Voc), Rohit (MCNM), Krishna ( Economics), Achyutam ( BA B Ed), Om Lal ( MA M Ed), Ashish ( Mathematics), Avinash (M Tech), Sachin (PPPA), Sahil ( HRM) and Arvind ( NSS).
Mahesh, Yashasvi, Toiba, Manvi Sharma, Sonu Sharma, Ritika Sharma, Tanika, Ghyanu Jha, Sufyan Sheikh, Prem Prakash, Piyush, Vishavjeet, Rishab, Abhinav, Manik, Dilbhag Singh, Meenu Rajput, Krishna, Parul, Ashiriti, Shilpa, Swati, Shikha and Ritika were announced as Executive Members.
Meanwhile, ABVP also announced its unit for GDC Ramban and appointed Sandeep Keterwal as the College president and Jyoti Drora as the college secretary.
Dilhar Singh, Veshav Dev Singh, Prince Singh, Sanjay Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Sudesh Chib, Anam Singh and Kalyan Singh were nominated as Vice Presidents while Shibana Akhtar, Ajay Sharma, Ravi Kant, Usha Devi, Sanjay Singh Thakur, Pankaj Kumar, Vishdeep Singh Katoch, Bhushan Singh, Rahul Sharma, Summit Singh and Mandeep Singh were made Joint Secretaries. ABVP announced Sandhia Devi as Girls Incharge, Sunekha Devi as Joint Girls Incharge, Davinder Singh as Sports Incharge, Pritam Kumar is SFD (Students For Development) Convenor, Mohinder Singh and Kajal Devi as SFD Joint Convenor, Rakesh Singh as SFS (Students For Sewa) Convenor, Sandeep Singh and Rashu Devi as SFS Joint Convenor, Gurdas as Treasurer and Pritam Singh is Media Convenor. The Executive Council Members included Mumta Devi, Saina Banoo, Lovedeep Thakur, Arun Bhagat, Babbel Singh, Shakti Singh, Raveet Singh, Sunil Singh and Paras Singh.
