JAMMU, June 20: A delegation of ABVP Kathua today met MoS Information, Education and Culture, Priya Sethi and submitted a memorandum of demands.
The delegation was led by ABVP State secretary, Rahul Dev Sharma, which apprised the Minister of their demands.
The delegation told MoS that Government Degree College Kathua is running PG Department in subject of geography, which is being taught in Government Women College Kathua but unfortunately this subject is not available at Girls Higher Secondary School, Kathua. “Similarly, the Commerce and Sociology subjects are not available in the School”, the delegations said and demanded that these subjects be introduced in the schools.

Many other issues related to education system and education policy were discussed with the Minister, who in turn ensured the delegation of taking appropriate and instant action.
