JAMMU, Sept 28: Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad has demanded intervention of Jammu University Vice-Chancellor for release of JRF Scholarship to offline candidates.
In a statement, ABVP leader Lokinder Singh said that the some of the scholars of Jammu University, who are offline candidates, have not received their UGC JRF scholarship since December 2014.
In the last meeting of Departmental Representatives of JU and Vice Chancellor, the issue was raised in presence of Registrar and other officials but nothing has been done so far for release of the scholarship, he added.
