JAMMU, Feb 20: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Jammu Kashmir had demanded rescheduling of JKAS exam on February 23, 2025 as it clashes with the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) exam on the same date.
According to a statement, issued by the ABVP State office, hundreds of students from Jammu and Kashmir have been preparing for both the exams, and the Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission’s refusal to reschedule the JKAS exam has left them in a state of distress.
“We strongly demand that the JKPSC should reconsider its decision and reschedule the JKAS exam to ensure that students do not lose an attempt unfairly,” said Sannak Shrivats, ABVP J&K State Secretary.
He strongly condemned JKPSC’s decision of not rescheduling the JKAS exam date despite knowing that it clashes with the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) exam on the same date.
“We urge the authorities to consider the welfare of the candidates and postpone the JKAS Prelims exam to a later date, ensuring that students do not miss out either of these crucial opportunities,’’ he added.
