ABVP Executive Council announced

JAMMU, Dec 13: During the 69th four- day National Conference of ABVP, which was at New Delhi, new State Executive Council of Jammu Kashmir along with other States and Union Territories was announced.
In this National Conference, about 10,000 students from across the length and breadth of India along with delegates from neighbouring countries Nepal, Bangladesh took part . 190 delegates from Jammu Kashmir also participated in the conference and took part in discussion on various current social, security and educational issues.
While sharing this information during a press conference, here today, ABVP State Secretary Akshi Billowria informed that six resolutions were passed in the National Conference on firm measures to be taken for `Quality Education and Vibrant Campus’, `Global Welfare Oriented Bhartiya Diplomacy’, `Youth must adopt a healthy lifestyle’ and `Need of conscientious development for environmental balance’.
ABVP Jammu Kashmir 59th State Conference was also held during this National Conference at Delhi wherein new State Executive Council was announced for the session 2023-24.
In newly announced State Executive Council, Dr Ajay Kumar Sharma from Udhampur was formally elected as State President and Akshi Billowria as State Secretary for next one year.
Dr Lokinder Singh, Prof Ritu Bakshi, Dr Sumit Kotwal, Dr Azad Khan were announced as State Vice-President and Sanak Shrivats, Akeel Ahmed Tantray, Pooja Chib, Shailesh Razdan, Sahil Thakur as State Joint Secretary.
Tilak Thakur was announced as State Organising Secretary, Sudershan Dogra as State Office Secretary and Govind Sharma, Sunil Choudhary as State Treasurer and State Co-Treasurer, respectively.
Along with this, State Incharges and State Conveners for different Forums, Cells were also announced.
During the National Conference, Ghulam Mustafa Ali was elected as National Secretary and Muskaan Anand as National Convener of Students For Sewa. Aabida War, Ritambhara Vashisht, Chahat Anand, Akhil Wazir got place in National Executive Council and Dr Parminder Singh was Special Invitee in the National Executive Council from the Jammu Kashmir.
