ABVP pays tribute to Martyred Soldiers, Civilians

JAMMU, June 20: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu Mahanagar’s MAM PG College unit here today during a programme paid heartfelt tribute to the soldiers and civilians who lost their lives in terrorist attacks.
While speaking on the occasion ABVP Jammu Mahanagar joint secretary, Manik Goswami said: “The students and responsible citizens must pledge to work towards a peaceful and secure future for the country.”
Abhay Pratap Singh, president ABVP MAM PG College said: “It is essential for us to remember and honour those who laid their lives protecting our freedom.”
Ishika Mahajan, secretary ABVP MAM PG College said: “We must contribute to building a stronger and safer India.”
Lighting of candles in the memory of martyrs was done and all observed a two minute silence to pray God for granting peace to the soul of martyrs.
Many students, faculty members and ABVP activists were present on the occasion prominent among those were Madhav Raina, Madhav Sharma, Aniket, Keetan, Ria and others.
