JAMMU, Mar 3: Continuing their protest against the controversial decision of State Administrative Council and State Council for Education Research and Training, ABVP activists today held a demonstration by covering their mouths with black ribbon.
Carrying placards with slogans, they were protesting against the SAC and SCERT decision to conduct no fresh recruitment of General Line Teachers till adjustment of all RETs as Second Grade Teachers besides 100 percent placement of Lectures through DPC.
They explained that following SAC decision in 2018-19, SCERT issued a notification on 28-12-2021 saying that for the post of Assistant Professors, Senior Academic officer, Academic Officer and Script Writers, only those candidates will be eligible who have the experience of Principle and lectures.
“All these decisions are against the career of unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir,” they said and vowed to continue the struggle under the banner of ABVP till the controversial decisions are withdrawn.
