JAMMU, Sept 25: To highlight the grievance of admission seekers at all the constituent colleges under Cluster University Jammu, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Jammu Mahanagar held a protest against Higher Education Department, here today at GGM Science College Jammu.
The protesting ABVP activists were demanding increase in intake capacity and improvement in the infrastructure in all the constituent colleges under Cluster University of Jammu so that more students can get admission in the Cluster University.
While talking to media persons, ABVP Jammu Mahanagar Secretary Chahat Anand explained that there are many students who have secured above 90 percent marks but are unable to get admission in CLUJ.
ABVP Jammu Mahanagar Joint Secretaries Mahaveer Dutta and Gourav Sharma announced series of protests till the issue is resolved and all students get admission.
Others ABVP activists, who addressed the protest demonstration, included Danishveer Magotra (Mahanagar Social Media Incharge), Hari Om Sharma (College Working Incharge), Anit Singh Manhas (Plus 2 Working incharge), Chirag (Think India Convenor), Kulbir, Sourav, Rishab, Anubhav, Arun, Deeraj, Nitin and Ajay.
