JAMMU, Aug 25: Demanding fee reduction for the current academic year and re-opening of the portal for fresh admissions, ABVP activists today held a strong protest demonstration outside the office of Cluster University Jammu, Vice-Chancellor at GGM Science College premises.
Raising slogans, the protesting ABVP activists were also demanding extension of last date for the admissions of 3rd and 5th semester students, refunding hostel fees as there was no student on campus and reimbursement of examination fees of all , except final year students as exams were canceled.
Talking to media persons, on the occasion, ABVP Jammu Mahanagar Joint Secretary, Akash Bhagat accused the Cluster University administration of forcing the students to adopt agitational path as there was no response over their demands for the last 20-25 days.
The protesting ABVP activists included Akash, Parteek Raina Piyush Raina, Gourav, Chahat Anand, Niyati, Manik Goswami, Chitvan Bali, Kulveer, Tandeep, Jai and others.
