ABVP remembers Swami Vivekananda on 126th years of Chicago Speech

JAMMU, Sept 11: ABVP today remembered Swami Vivekananda on 126th years of his Chicago Speech and threw light on his spiritual enlightenment.
A programme in this connection was organized at Jammu University wherein Prof Vivek Kumar of Vivekananda Chair in Central University of Jammu, was the key speaker.
Dr Vivek Kumar said that Vivekananda is a role model not only for the youth in India but throughout the world. Swami Vivekananda had risen in the times when our motherland was going through all the atrocities and was in a very poor condition. But he gave a completely new image to this country and gave the idea of India a world preview,” he added.
Earlier, Shubham Amar, president JU unit of ABVP, said that Swami Vivekananda was the first youth Sanyasi who presented India in the best way across the world. He said that Swami Vivekananda is idol of ABVP and people must read him once in their lifetime, especially during the youth age.
Vote of thanks was presented by Dyutima Kesar, ABVP Secretary of JU unit. Manik Reshi was the stage secretary of the programme.
