JAMMU, May 27: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) is organizing a three day National Executive Council meet here from May 29 to May 31 at Jambulochan Hall Ambphalla.
This was disclosed by ABVP national president, Dr Nagesh Thakur, its national secretary Vinay Bidre, State president Ishwar Sharad and State secretary Varsha Gupta while talking to reporters here today. They said over 400 delegates across the country will participate in the Executive meet.
The main objective of holding the NE meet in Jammu is to discuss the annual planning of ABVP with respect to working and role of the organization in society in the wake of present education scenario, they said.
They said eight resolutions with respect to evalution of ABVP under social and organizational under social and organizational perspective will also be undertaken. Apart from that discussions on the role of ABVP, Think India and SFD in the present context vis-a –vis future challenges will also be deliberated in the NE meet of the organization.
The ABVP is also going to organise a public reception programme at Ved Mandir tomorrow evening for the delegates reaching here from different parts of the country. Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and Vice Chancellor SMVDU Dr Sanjeev Jain will also grace tomorrow’s function, they added.
