JAMMU, Jan 14: Anti Corruption Bureau today organized webinar on newly launched Departmental Vigilance Officers Portal.
The webinar was inaugurated by Anand Jain, Director Anti Corruption Bureau and was attended by about 100 DVOs from various departments across the UT.
A threadbare discussion was held on the various aspects of working of portal. Various queries of the participants were replied. A presentation on DVOs and demonstration on the working of the portal was also given to the DVOs.
It may be recalled that the DVO Portal was launched by Lieutenant Governor on January 7, 2021. The Portal is developed as a communication channel between ACB and Departmental Vigilance Officers (DVOs) posted in different departments. DVOs, generally being field officers can quickly make ground verifications as they have knowledge about their colleagues and departmental functioning. They have also access to the records which helps them in ascertaining the factual position quickly.
