JAMMU, Nov 30: Anti-Corruption Bureau today produced charge-sheet in the case of disproportionate assets against then Storekeeper CA&PD, namely Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din.
Charge sheet (challan) in case FIR number 35/2014 P/S VOJ (now ACB-Jammu), under section 5(1) (e) r/w 5(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act against Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din of village Gulabgarh, Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi, A/P House No. 19 Sec-2 Pamposh Colony Channi Rama Jammu, who was booked for accumulation of huge movable and immovable assets worth lakhs of rupees during his posting as Storekeeper Chassana as well as other places of posting.
His assets include two houses, one at Gulabgarh and the other at Jammu, two shops at Gulabgarh, several kanals of land at different locations in Gulabgarh and Jammu besides two vehicles, which are disproportionate to his known source of income.
Investigation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Bureau proved the allegations of disproportionate assets against the said accused. After completing the investigation of case, sanction for launching of prosecution of the accused was also obtained from the competent authority and Anti-Corruption Bureau J&K produced charge sheet against him before the Court of Special.
