SRINAGAR, Nov 17: Anti Corruption Bureau today produced chargesheet against Irshad Ahmad Dar, the then Patwari Halqa Kulbugh, Khansahib Budgam who was caught red handed while accepting bribe.
Chargesheet in case FIR number 19/2020 PS ACB Srinagar, was produced in the Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Srinagar.
The instant case was registered in PS ACB Srinagar on the basis of a written complaint, according to which the Patwari Halqa Kulbugh Khan Sahib Budgam namely Irshad Ahmad Dar was demanding Rs 5000 from the complainant as bribe for issuance of Revenue Extract of his proprietary land at Kulbugh Khansahib Budgam.
After registration of Case FIR No. 19/2020 PS ACB Srinagar, ACB laid a successful trap in which accused Patwari was caught red while demanding and accepting a bribe amount of Rs 5000 from the complainant.
The investigation of the case was concluded as proved against the accused. After obtaining the Govt sanction for launching prosecution, the chargesheet of the case was produced before the Court of Special Anti-Corruption Judge Srinagar for Judicial determination. The next date of hearing is fixed on 27.01.2022.
