JAMMU, Mar 13: Jammu and Kashmir Government today ordered that the cadre strength of Jammu and Kashmir Anti Corruption Bureau shall be 846 posts comprising one Director, one Additional Director, and 2 Deputy Inspector General (DIG) ranked officers.
“In exercise of powers conferred by proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India and in suppression of SRO 677 dated October 25, 2019, the Lieutenant Governor is pleased to direct that the cadre strength of Jammu and Kashmir Anti Corruption Bureau for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, shall comprise of 846 posts,” read an order issued by the General Administration Department.
Headed by a Director ranked officer, the ACB shall have one Additional Director, two DIGs, one Director Prosecution, 8 SPs, 2 Joint Directors, 3 Deputy Directors, 19 Chief Prosecuting Officers, 22 Senior Prosecuting Officers, 25 DySPs, 2 Executive Engineers (Civil), 7 AEEs (Civil), 1 Assistant Commissioner (Revenue), one Chief Accounts Officer, 2 Accounts Officers, 1 Administrative Officer, 20 Prosecuting Officers, 103 Inspectors (Executive), 40 Sub-Inspectors, 22 Assistant Sub Inspectors, 62 Head Constables, 263 Constables, 7 AAOs, one Accountant, 8 Accounts Assistants, 7 JEs (Civil), 1 Head Draftsman, 3 Section Officers, 2 Head Assistants, 11 Senior Assistants, 3 Data Entry Operators, 59 Junior Assistants, 4 Senior Stenographers, 26 Junior Stenographers, 19 Steno Typists, 5 Assistant Programmers, 7 Naib-Tehsildars, 7 Malkhana Officers, 7 Girdawar, 11 Constable Drivers, 46 Multi Tasking Staff and 4 Sanitation Workers.
