NEW DELHI : In a late last night development, the government made a major reshuffle and transferred six secretaries.
Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) made the following appointments.
Ms Gauri Kumar, has been appointed as Secretary, Co-ordination & Public Grievances, Cabinet Secretariat in place of Mr SB Agnihotri. Ms Kumar is presently Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Mr Shankar Agarwal has been made Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment vice Ms Gauri Kumar. Mr Agarwal is the Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development.
Mr Madhusudhan Prasad who is the Special Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry as Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development in place of Mr Shankar Agarwal. Mr Lov Verma, Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in the vacancy of Ms Stuti Narayan Kacker (Retired).
Ms Anita Agnihotri, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation as Secretary Department of Social Justice and Empowerment in place of Mr Sudhir Bhargava. Ms Nandita Chatterjee, who is Member Secretary, National Commission for Women, Ministry of Women and Child Development as Secretary Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation in place of Ms Anita Agnihotri.
