JAMMU, Feb 12: A security guard, who was injured last evening in a road mishap in Mishriwala area of city outskirts, succumbed today to his injuries at GMC Jammu.
“Karan Singh (60) son of Chuni Singh, resident of Purkhoo, sustained serious injuries last evening when while crossing the Jammu-Akhnoor Road, a speeding two-wheeler hit him in Mishriwala area,” a police official said.
He said the passersby shifted the injured man to GMC&H Jammu for treatment but he succumbed to his injuries there at about 2: 15 AM today. “After postmortem, the body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while a case in this connection was registered at police station Kanachak and investigations started,” the official further added.
