JAMMU, Aug 24: An accident victim succumbed today in a hospital.
According to a police official, the deceased has been identified as Karamat Ali son of Mohd Din, resident of Budsoo, tehsil Dansal. He said that the victim was injured on August 12 when his bike collided with another bike.
The official said that the victim was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu on the same day but from there his attendants took him to Maharishi Dayanand Hospital, Jammu, where he expired today.
“The body of the deceased was sent for postmortem in GMCH Jammu while Jhajjar Kotli police had taken cognizance of the matter,” he added.
