JAMMU, June 27: A young man injured in a road mishap, succumbed to his injuries today at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
According to police sources, Aman Mehra (24) son of Raghuveer Mehra, resident of Indira Colony (Old Janipur, Jammu) was riding on a bike on the evening of June 12 when an unknown speeding vehicle hit his two-wheeler and left him seriously injured.
“The injured bike rider was immediately rushed to GMCH Jammu, where he was undergoing treatment but yesterday, on the request of the family members, he was discharged from the hospital,” sources said.
They said today, the injured youth was again shifted to GMCH Jammu but doctors there declared him as brought dead. Janipur police had taken cognizance of the matter.
