JAMMU, Mar 31: A victim of road accident today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Balmiki Vishwakarma (60) son of Ayodhya Vishwakarma, a resident of Patna (Bihar), at present in Sanjay Nagar (Jammu), was shifted here at GMCH on March 27 after he received serious injuries in a road mishap at Nai Basti in Satwari area.
However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 6.40 am. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
