JAMMU, Dec 25: A victim of road accident today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Gusha Ram (75) son of Magar Ram, a resident of Mawa Brahmana (Akhnoor), was shifted here at GMCH on December 20 after he received serious injuries in a road mishap at Fawara Chowk (Akhnoor).
However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 8.15 am. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
