JAMMU, Sept 16: An 18-year-old boy, who was undergoing treatment here at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for his accident injuries, expired today.
According to a police spokesperson, the boy identified as Chetan Ram (18) son of Bagwat, a resident of Chhattisgarh, was injured on September 9 here at Sidhra area of city outskirts when an unknown vehicle hit him.
Since that day, the victim was undergoing treatment here at GMCH, where he succumbed to his injuries this morning.
After conducting postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. The concerned police has already taken cognizance of the matter.
