JAMMU, Apr 19: A victim of road accident today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, a man identified as Kundan Rahut (30) from Bihar who was presently residing at RS Pura, was shifted here at GMCH on April 14 after he received serious injuries in a road mishap at RS Pura.
However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 6 AM. “After completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased has been handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
