JAMMU, June 15: An accident victim succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here today morning, police sources said.
The deceased was identified as Abhi Kundal, son of Nek Ram of Katal Batal Nagrota District Jammu.
The victim was injured after a jeep turned inside a tunnel at Nashri on June 12 this year and was admitted in GMCH Jammu, where he failed to respond to the treatment and died today morning.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections already stands registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and investigation is going on.
