RAJOURI, Mar 4: One person wanted in a shoot-out incident that took place yesterday in Chakli Bagla village of Rajouri has been arrested within 24 hours of the crime.
SSP Rajouri, Chandan Kohli said that an information was received yesterday afternoon that a man identified as Pritam Kumar, son of Des Raj, resident of Chakli Bagla village of Rajouri got injured after he was fired upon by a relative over some dispute.
“He was shifted to Rajouri hospital where his treatment started while cognizance of the matter was taken by Chingus -Chatyar police and investigation was started by a team of police headed by Insp Ashish Chowdhary,” SSP said.
He informed that during investigation, accused identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Kishori Lal, resident of Chakli Bagla has been arrested.
“Accused was on run but a police team raided multiple locations and nabbed the accused.” SSP added.
