UDHAMPUR, Dec 25: Police today arrested an accused wanted in a case registered under POCSO Act at Police station Majalta.
A complaint was lodged at the Police Station by parents of the victim (a minor girl), who was impregnated by the accused following which a case FIR No. 115/2024, under section 5 (j)(ii)/6/POCSO Act and 65(1)BNS Act was registered.
Acting swiftly, SHO Majalta, Inspector Sohan Singh constituted Police teams and tracked the accused. Raids were conducted at various locations and after relentless efforts, the police team arrested the accused, identified as Raj Kumar, son of Dharam Chand of Deot, Majalta.
