JAMMU, Aug 6: Tribute were paid to martyr Naib Subedar Parshotam Kumar by ACD, Jammu Dr. Vikas Sharma in a function held here today.
On the occasion, the ACD also interacted with the family members of the martyr, felicitated them and lauded the valour of the martyr.
Addressing to the people, Sharma laid stress on the fact that the initiative will not only to remind us of the sacrifices of martyrs but will also keep the environment clean for ourselves and future generations.
He also emphasised the significance of creating a better environment and nation for future generations and stressed the importance of conserving water to ensure its availability in the future.
Additionally, he encouraged individuals to contribute to nation-building and protection through their respective pursuits of life and professions.
DDC Bishnah, BDO Bishnah and Tehsildar Bishnah were also present during the event.
