SAMBA, Nov 11: Assistant Commissioner, Development (ACD) Samba, has kept salaries of BDO, Nud, VLW/MPWs, JE/ATS, GRSs of the block withheld for the month of November this year and asked them to explain their position for the low progress under various schemes within two days failing which stern action as warranted under rules will be taken against them.
The ACD in his order said that it has been observed that the progress of execution of works under various schemes especially under ADF is not satisfactory. The authorities have taken serious exception to casual approach and non seriousness of BDO, Nud and field functionaries in achieving the desired targets viz a viz execution of works which they said has hampered the overall progress of the district.
