ACF organizes blood donation camp

JAMMU, Jan 15: Adarsh Charitable Foundation (ACF) in association with Adarsh Credit Co-operative Society Limited (ACCS) and Adarsh Build Estate Limited Jammu today organized a blood donation camp here at Bahu Plaza.
A large number of people registered for the campaign by filing the Voluntary Blood Donor Pledge Form at the camp and voluntarily donated 25 units of blood.
Chief guest, Mahesh Sharma, Project Director, Adarsh Build Estate Limited said, “Such type of camp is first of its kind in J&K where blood is being donated by large number of people at one time. He also informed that such camps will be organized in future also.
In his address, Sandeep Sharma, vice president and zonal head, ACCS, stated that under this project availability of blood is being ensured to the needy on time, serving the noblest deed of mankind.
Cluster Business Head of Adarsh Society, Prabhat Gaind welcomed the guests and Cluster Business Head, Prithvi Pal Singh conducted the proceedings of the function.
The camp was also aimed at adding people to Nation’s biggest Blood Donor Network.
