MUMBAI: Actor Harshvardhan Rane, who made his acting debut in Bollywood with romantic film “Sanam Teri Kasam”, has two action flicks in his kitty.
Harshvardhan has been offered a Russian film, which is an action drama, and another is Bejoy Nambiar’s next project, which will be the remake of a Mani Ratnam movie.
Bejoy is busy rewriting the Hindi version of Mani Ratnam’s 1988 Tamil film “Agni Nachathiram”.
“It’s a high-octane drama (referring to Russian film). I have liked the script but yet to decide on other parameters. The makers have approached me with the script but I haven’t signed it yet,” Harshvardhan told reporters.
“I have signed the film (referring to Bejoy Nambiar’s film) and waiting for the shoot to start.”
Harshvardhan, known for his work in Telugu cinema, has started prep work for Bejoy’s venture. “I have started prepping up for the film. I’ve started working on my diet and fitness regimen and everything that’s required for my character.”
The actor, who will turn 33 tomorrow, said 2016 is a special year for him. “This year is special as I made an entry in Bollywood. I want to continue to entertain my audience. I am looking forward to the coming year. I am thankful to all for the love and warmth.”
Harshvardhan said as a person he is way too disciplined, which he wants to change about himself.
” I think I need to give myself some time and not be too strict with my life. A little bit of being carefree will be a good idea. I want to go to places which I haven’t explored yet, meeting new people or learning something new,” he added. (PTI)
