JAMMU, Apr 15: Adarsh Vihar locality in Deeli area of Jammu South is facing acute shortage of water supply.
The locals alleged that for the last about one week or so the water supply in Adrash Vihar ( DEELI) is not being made properly and the inhabitants of the area are facing hardships during these hot summer days. They alleged that no officer of Jal Shakti Deptt cares for the miseries of the public despite repeated complaints. Even the officers concerned do not respond phone calls.
This is only because of the negligence of the Department. Last year also the residents had to face such water crisis. With the intervention at higher level the matter was resolved but now again, the things have worsened due to poor response of the staff concerned. Chairman of the Adrash Vihar Society, S. Balwant Singh has sought attention of Principal Secretary, Jal Shakti Department Ashok Parmar towards this urgent public issue.
