JAMMU, Feb 7: With the mission to organize its literary activities in various parts of the city along with other literary organizations for the upliftment of literary taste among the people and for the respect to the literature and the writers community, Adbi Kunj organized a special creative meet at its literary centre in the premises of Kidzee School Talab Tillo, here.
A large number of literary figures of different languages participated from the different parts of the city as well outside the city.
The meet was presided over by a noted writer and poet from Canada SM Shridhar whereas another noted Punjabi poet Harjit Singh Uppal President Punjabi Sahit Sabha RS Pura was the chief guest. Noted writer MS Kamra conducted the proceeding of the meet.
In his welcome address, Sham Talib President of the organization threw light on the aims and role of the organization for the upliftment of the languages.
A composite mushiara was also held in the meet.
The poets who participated in the meet include Aarash Dalmotra, SM Shridhar, Harjit Singh Uppal, Santosh Nadan, Sarwar Chohan, MS Kamra, M Baqar Saba, Charan Singh Chan, Singh Saraji, Uttam Singh Rahi, Sanjeev Kumar, SK Gupta, Rajeev Kumar and Sham Talib.
In the end, vote of thanks was presented by Chairman Aarash Dalmotra.
