JAMMU, Sept 11: On 17th death anniversary of Dr. O.P Sharma ‘Sarthi’, Adbi Kunj in a literary meet here today paid him tributes.
The meet was presided over by a noted poetess Santosh Shah Nadan, Vice President of Adbi Kunj, while another noted poet S. Charanjit Singh ‘Chan’ was the guest of honour whereas retired Principal, Kalu Ram Salgotra, General Secretary of the organization conducted the proceeding of the meet.
Paying tributes to Dr. Sharma, Sham Talib highlighted his contribution in the foundation and upliftment of Adbi Kunj.
Aarash Dalmotra, Chairman and others also threw light on the different aspects of ‘Sarthi’s’ works.
In the creative prose session, Sham Talib read out two creations-Yad-E-Sarthi and Kitne-Lamhon-Main-Tazgi-Aaie-Aaj-Phir-Yad-E-Sarthi-Aaie.
The poets who participated in the meet were Aarash Dalmotra, Santosh Shah Nadan, Charanjit Singh Chan, Romesh Sagar, Rahul Arman, Sanjeev Kumar, Bishan Dass Khak, Raj Kamal, Naveen Pal, Rajeev Kumar, K.L Salgotra, Chaman Sagoch, S.K Gupta, Jaitender Bassan, Uttam Singh Rahi and Sham Talib.
The meet was come to end with the vote of thanks by Aarash Dalmotra.
