Doda, Jan 1: Under the direction of Transport Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan and Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, and under the supervision of ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, the Motor Vehicle Department Doda, in collaboration with the Health Department Doda, organized a Medical/Eye Check-up Camp today at Pul Doda.
The camp was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda, Sudarshan Kumar, who was accompanied by ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta, doctors from the Medical and Ayush Departments, and officials from both the Motor Vehicle and Health Departments.
A large number of drivers from the region participated in the camp, availing themselves of free medical and eye examinations as well as essential health screenings. This initiative emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups for drivers, highlighting that good vision and overall well-being are crucial for road safety.
During the camp, qualified medical professionals conducted comprehensive eye tests, providing immediate feedback and guidance on necessary corrective measures. Drivers were also educated about the significance of maintaining clear vision while driving, as impaired eyesight can lead to accidents and compromise public safety.
In addition to eye check-ups, participants were provided with free medicines and valuable information on general health maintenance and preventive care. The camp reinforced the message that health is a key component of responsible and safe driving practices.
