JAMMU, June 30: To provide Aadhar services to the pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Yatra at one place Samvedna Society Chairman Keshav Chopra along with Aadhar Seva Kendra Jammu inaugurated Aadhar Helpdesk at Yatri Niwas Bhagwati Nagar here today.
The Camp was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu Satish Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC Jammu Satish Sharma said that Aadhar card is mandatory for Shri Amarnath Yatra and to provide Aadhar Services to the pilgrims, the Samvedna Society has taken a very good initiative by providing Aadhar Services at Yatri Niwas Bhagwati Nagar so that pilgrims may not have to suffer.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Samvedna Society Keshav Chopra said that Jammu and Kashmir Government has done splendid work by arranging all the facilities for the pilgrims in the best way. Through this Aadhar Helpdesk, the facilities which will be provided to the pilgrims will be correction of Aadhaar, Duplicate Copy of Aadhar, mobile number update in Aadhar, unlock the biometric lock and this camp is going to continue till the end of the yatra, Keshav further added.
Dinesh Anthal Naib Tehsildar, Peer Mubashir Shah Operational Manager Adhaar Seva Kendra Jammu, Amit Singh, Nikhil Manhas, Manoj Tandon, Sahil Verma and many others were also present on the occasion.
