RAJOURI, May 11: An investigation has been initiated against Ayaz Ahmed, a Government teacher posted at Government Middle School, Nambla, under Rajouri Education Zone, after allegations of violation of Model Code of Conduct by participating in political activities were raised against him.
Nodal Officer of Model Code of Conduct and according to the inquiry order issued by ADC Rajouri, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria, a complaint has been received against the said teacher that he is continuously campaigning for the National Conference candidate in the Lok Sabha elections and thus he is violating the Model Code of Conduct.
The Nodal officer has issued order to the Chief Education Officer Rajouri to conduct an investigation against the said teacher and submit a factual report within 24 hours for further action as per Election Commission of India guidelines.
