JAMMU, Nov 19: Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association (ADCSA) today announced two-day pen down strike on December 1 and 2 across the State.
The decision in this regard was taken by the apex body and core group of the association in a meeting held here today.
While addressing the meeting, Ravi Singh Bhau, president of the association, condemned the anti-clerical cadre policies of the State Government who after reaching a number of agreements failed to concede the just and genuine demands of the clerical cadre.
He said that the State Government is hood winking the clerical cadre by giving false assurances and not implementing its various agreements. He appealed the Chief Minister to intervene into the matter and issued orders for removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadres at the earliest.
Bhau said when the Pay anomaly Committee has submitted its report regarding the pay anomalies of Clerical Cadre, then why the Government is not implementing the same in favour of Clerical cadre.
He said that such type of step motherly treatment has augmented resentments in the cadre and they are compelled to come on roads once again.
He said that they with the consent of Kashmir Province body of the association has decided to observe two-day pen down strike on December 1 and 2 across the State, which can be extended further, if the State Government failed to remove the pay anomalies of the cadres by or before November 30.
