JAMMU, July 1: Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs today appointed Dr Manmohan Singh, Additional District Development Commissioner, Kathua as Executive Magistrate Ist Class.
According to the order issued by Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Law Secretary, Dr Manmohan Singh will exercise all the powers of an Executive Magistrate Ist Class within his territorial jurisdiction of Kathua district.
Further, in exercise of powers conferred under Code of Criminal Procedure, the Government has appointed Executive Magistrate Dr Manmohan Singh as Additional District Magistrate. He will have all the powers of District Magistrate.
