ADDC takes stock of people’s problems

UDHAMPUR, Apr 26: Additional District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Ajay Singh Jamwal today visited far flung areas of Bhadota to assess the damages due to sinking of land.
Mr. Jamwal interacted with the people of the area and said that the district administration stands with them and assured all possible help from the administration side.
He stressed upon the farmers to plant more and more trees in order to prevent soil erosion and sinking of land. He instructed X-En Irrigation and Flood Control to provide crates for protection at nallah site.
Later, to redress the problems and grievances of the people of Panchari tehsil, the Additional District Development Commissioner held public grievances camps at village Badhota and Lander.
Locals of the areas put forth various demands which mainly include shortage of ration, compensation for crop damages, repairs of transformers and un-interrupted power supply etc.
The ADDC gave patient hearing and assured them that their genuine problems would be redressed in time bound manner.
Meanwhile, ADDC visited various areas of the tehsil and inspected construction works of PHC Lander and PHC Panchari.
