JAMMU, Sept 4: Additional Directorate General, NCC, Maj Gen Nilendra Kumar visited the ongoing combined Annual Training Camp (ATC) at NCC Camping Ground, Nagrota near here today.
He was received by Group Commander Jammu, Brig Sanjay Kadian and Camp Commandant Colonel RK Sharma. The General Officer was given Guard of Honour by the cadets.
The Officer was briefed by Camp Commandant about the training and other ongoing activities in the camp. Additional Director General appreciated the training of the cadets and also suggested ways for further improvement of the Camp.
Rajesh Virdi, Coach Jammu & Kashmir Rifle Association also visited the camp and gave important tips to the cadets preparing for Thal Sena Camp at Delhi. He also discussed about the technical aspects of shooting and various future prospects related to this field.
In the evening, cadets carried out Clean India drive and also participated in Volleyball and tug of war contest.
