Ramban, Dec 26: Skill Development Centre, Ramban today held a felicitation programme at Old Dak Bungalow Ramban to distribute certificates to the candidates who have completed three months certificate course in ‘tailoring techniques’ and ‘computer applications’.
240 candidates who had completed the courses, received certificates from the chief guest, Sanjay Parihar, Additional SP Ramban.
It’s pertinent to mention here that as an initiative of PMKVY, Ministry of Skill and Development has started free training in various skills to the needy and poor candidates throughout the country in order to make them self dependent/ employed.
Not only this, the successful candidates are also getting three years’ free insurance and stipend as well which directly goes to their accounts. For tailoring, the minimum qualification remained 5th pass whereas for computer course, it was minimum 10th pass.
Course coordinator Gurdeep presented a momento to the chief guest as a token of gratitude. Amit and Sapna (faculty members) anchored the event and Anoop presented vote of thanks.
