JAMMU, Dec 19: A delegation of Agriculture Displaced Employees Welfare Association (ADEWA) represented All Displaced Employees Forum called on Advisor to Governor, K K Sharma here, today and submitted a memorandum to him.
The delegation led by its president Dr Manoj Nazir also apprised him of the demands of the displaced employees especially about leave encashment which is not being paid to them soon after their retirement. The advisor issued instructions to concerned officers to look into the matter and redress the problem. He assured the delegation that the problem will be solved.
Other members of delegation were Dr Sanjay Wali, Munuji Dhar, Surinder Koul, O K Sus, Nana Ji Tickoo, Jagdish Kumar, Avtar Krishan Bhat and Santosh.
